Facility Overview
This project encompassed the ground-up construction of a single-story educational day care facility designed to support both administrative functions and early childhood education. The new 8,791-square-foot main building houses multiple classrooms, administrative offices, and support spaces, all tailored to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
Construction and Design
The building was constructed on a slab-on-grade foundation with wood stud framing and shop-fabricated roof trusses. Its exterior features a durable brick veneer finish, complemented by strategically placed glazing to maximize natural light throughout the interior. These design choices ensure both structural integrity and a welcoming atmosphere for students and staff.
Site Enhancements
Beyond the main structure, the scope included significant site improvements such as grading, stormwater management systems, utility reconfiguration, and full landscaping. A 579-square-foot covered breezeway connects building areas to improve campus flow, while a dedicated 5,245-square-foot playground provides ample space for outdoor play and recreation. Delivered in alignment with project specifications and local codes, the facility was completed without an automatic sprinkler system. Altogether, the developed area—including building, breezeway, and playground—totals 14,615 square feet.
