VILLA RICA, GA — August 26, 2025 — Caliber 1 Construction marked its 20th anniversary this summer with an After Hours celebration hosted in partnership with the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. Held at Caliber 1’s headquarters in Villa Rica, the event brought together more than 100 community leaders, elected officials, clients, partners, and employees to reflect on two decades of growth, service, and shared success.
The evening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Chamber representatives and local leaders, followed by a dedication recognizing Caliber 1’s 20 years of impact in the region. Guests toured the company’s headquarters in the CERC building and connected with members of the Caliber 1 team during a lively networking reception.
Founded in 2005 by Chris and Jenny Elliott, Caliber 1 Construction began with a clear vision. As Chris Elliott shared during his remarks, “Even then, our sights were set on being number one—number one in how we serve our clients each and every day.”
Since those early days, Caliber 1 has grown into a commercial construction firm with 90+ full-time employees, more than 30 full-time superintendents, and a dedicated team of project managers. The company has completed more than 2,400 projects across a 37-state footprint—while staying rooted in the community where it all began.
“Numbers only tell part of the story,” Chris Elliott noted. “What truly defines us are the values we’ve carried from day one: Integrity, Quality, and Satisfaction. These aren’t just words on a wall—they guide every decision, every partnership, and every project.”
The setting for the celebration underscored that commitment to community. Once underused, the CERC building—now home to Caliber 1’s headquarters—has been revitalized to support local businesses and host gatherings like this one. Caliber 1 has also completed numerous projects throughout Villa Rica, including the city’s new fire station, a project Chris Elliott described as especially meaningful for its direct impact on employees and first responders.
Looking ahead, Caliber 1 continues to invest in its people and the future of the construction industry, including the recent expansion of its Building My Blueprint internship program to a year-round offering.
